My friend went to a hen party last week and some women were acting very inappropriate with the men. He excused it as "just the drink".

Even though it lower inhibitions, does it really make you do anything you wouldn't otherwise want to?

Spending 2 days on a stag or at chelt with lads drinking is draining enough, 2 days with a load of women sounds like hell, I'd expect it's easy enough to cross paths with a hen party if that's your gig, surely easier ways to get the ride.

About 10 years ago my group of friends went to kilkenny for a birthday I think, and stayed in a hotel. I can't remember the reason, but I couldn't go and I can't remember the reason for that either. Both are irrelevant. One of the lads was singled out by a hen party in the hotel and they tried dragging him into their room to be their stripper at the end of the night.

He was too timid. He bottled it. it's worth noting that they didn't pick him because he was the hottest, the strongest, the funniest or any other reason that you might think. They were straight out with the questions. "Who has the biggest cock?"

The hen party were told that he had. He is crazy skinny, so it is probably true I don't know.

To make a long story short, if you are male with an interest in women, and are going to one of the hen party or stag towns, book a hotel.

The people and things you will see in the lobby beat the crap out of the air bnb's, also you may get singled out to be abused by women. If that is something you like or want…………….. Consider hotels. 😂

Airbnb or otherwise, you are always limited to the pub time.

I don't think hen party or stag towns hotels have shot up to ridiculous prices because they do so well. But I haven't checked it in a while.

And their behaviour on alcohol is disgusting. I wouldn't want anyone to have fun. I think we should all stop all of that sort of thing.

Many moon ago I worked with a very small team one of which was male and he was asked to the hen night of a colleague he came and had a great night but it was very tame mostly a lot of alcohol.

Yeah, you don't have to be with the hen party itself to get involved in hen shenanigans, just be hen adjacent. If you're somewhere where there is a hen party just make your worst Carry On type double entendre and at least half of them will howl with laughter. Then every time they see you that night they'll make some further comment. 60% of the time it works every time.

I work in a venue that caters to various events like hen and stags at the same time but they are not exclusive and the crowds will invariably mix at some stage. Not too long ago there was a hen party (30-50 odd age range) that took a shine to a group of young (18-21 ish) lads on a night out. One lad and 2 women were caught in the ladies up to fun times and another woman and fella were removed from the smoking area for finger stuff. She literally had one leg over each of the arms of her chair with all on show. Stags are much more likely to just get blind drunk and then move on elsewhere.
