The RTE "725 Million" myth

    A lot of people are misinformed and think RTE got a "bailout" of 725 Million, It reminds me of the "My car tax pays for my water" fools back in 2012-2016. The reality is, all RTE is getting in this top-up is the amount they would have been getting for the past 15 years if the licence fee collection had been collected properly when Pat Rabbitte first announced it needed to be done.
