Ally pally is truly the Mecca for Darts fans

The fan village is amazing and in a bit of an unusual step there is no footage of the game going on in the next room. Lots of games (Paddys Bullseye Challenge, Sick note service) and you can 'pay' to get a photo with Darts legends (Keith Deller and Russ Bray we're there for the Afternoon Session)

Food and drink prices are standard UK event prices so not the cheapest but it's a decent offering. As expected the 'Pitchers' were popular starting at £30.20

The venue itself is superb but it's 'North London' so not very walkable from Central London but it does have good rail/tube and bus accessibility. If i was going again I wouldn't book a hotel in Central London

The Atmosphere is amazing and a mix between a concert/Oktoberfest with a few games of Darts thrown in (pun not intended). I was in the 'tired seating section' and was a great view. The room looks so much bigger on TV than it is in person. Obviously a few big screens/scoreboards, the chants are part of the package and just have to be tolerated

Best chance of getting Tickets is signing up to for annual PDC TV membership (before mid July) but you have to be on the ball the moment they go on sale as they normally sell out very quickly. Other options are some 3rd party ticket resale sites and Travel Packages (Cassidy Travel etc

It's a must for any Darts fan esp the time of year and would be such a shame if they move to another venue. Expanding the tournament is the best bet
