Anyone giving vouchers to "employees" under the above scheme. Any advise on what vouchers might be best..Do travel agents give vouchers?

Depends what your wants. Gave my best employee last year a voucher to buy a gym membership and a Ryanair voucher

I'm a contractor and was able to get a prepaid debit card from Clever Cards through my company

I haven't used it yet but it should work anywhere that accepts Mastercard

We get a pre-paid credit card from our employer. They use Allgo (used to be Perx). I am sure other suppliers of these exist.

One for all have turned into a nightmare as changes to the rules mean they cannot be used for online purchases (over a certain value maybe).

they are alright but the destination for the funds are in store shoes and some specific 5’ nut cracker decorations so it made no difference to me here.

For general and flexible use, prepaid cards or vouchers for department stores will be suitable.

I buy Perx cards. They're like a prepaid credit card.

I gave Dunnes vouchers instead of one for all this year because they are better value for everyone involved . None of the big stores accept one for all except Tesco. A thousand euro voucher costs €970 in Dunnes , a thousand euro card in most prepaid cards costs €1010 . As a company director, I give a €1000 card to me and another to my wife ( employee) . This year it's 1500 euro each

I presume the farm must be in a company structure to avail of this, or have family members employed. For example myself and the father who operate in a partnership couldn't give one to each other?

We pay the kids here a wage for their labour so they can get one. We are sole traders

I think it can be given to employees, so works for grueller above, but if you want to avail of it yourself it has to be from your employer...aka ..the company.

I m not familiar with a partnership and whether that is a business structure where the "owners" are employees. I would think not..

Yea, company director or employee only. €1,500 now in 2025 from €1,000 in 2024.

Thanks for the replies. That rules us out so, I assume an "employee" would need to have received other payment from the farm prior to getting a voucher.
