Last week the local an post delivery driver was robbed at 0830 by raiders in a BMW X5, in Deerpark castleknock. They took a load of parcels with them. Presumably the BMW was stolen for the robbery. What's the position from an post for finding out if they took my package and will we get our money back on a stolen item? Apparently they are robbing lots of deliveries throughout Dublin.

Good luck getting anything back from An Post. Just terrible to deal with when something goes missing.

Unless you paid An Post directly for the delivery fee, there is absolutely nothing whatsoever they should do.

Very simply, contact the place you bought it from,. THEY paid an post, they can claim off an post and send you a replacement.

If your tracking said "out for delivery" and it has not been delivered, then possibly it was involved, but they process HUNDREDS of thousands of parcels, so there's actually a very small chance it was yours unless the tracking has at opne point showed it was out for delivery.

If it was not a tracked parcel, there is zero chance of anyone knowing.

As above - Nothing to do with An Post, nothing to do with Royal Mail, it si ONLY the person who paid the fee that a delivery company is responsible to.

And also if its from the UK, it will have been caught up in the Holyhead delays which are 4-5 days with an post for tracked items and 5-7 days for untracked items. Its been all over the news, so assume that's the cause of the delay
