Eligibility for Salary Progression While on Probation-Civil Service

My manager has marked me as satisfactory in both my mid-year and end-of-year reviews. However, I am currently on probation. Will I be eligible for extra pay or a move up the salary scale, even though I am still on probation?

You will move up the salary scale with your first increment. These are annually, and if you're in your first year, your first increment will be on the 1 year anniversary of your start date.

Probation is a year… and you only move up the pay scale at the end of every year (at the anniversary of your start date).

So you'll be leaving probation and will essentially receive the pay rise at the same time (give or take a few weeks).

Do you have any previous service in the same grade? If you do then send evidence of it to your HR - your increment will be after 12 cumulative months of service at the grade.
