Does a Garda have to stop you if u break a red light, He went through and in his mirror he seen an unmarked car blue lights come on but didnt follow, He said it was orange but accepts any fines points due

They don't need to pull you over, but generally so.
It's also illegal to run an amber light unless it's unsafe to stop.
