Leylandii’s fell - what to do with chippings?

    I lost ~ 20 large leylandiis during storm Darragh. I’ve cut up 2 of the ones blocking the driveway and the amount of space the branches are taking up is substantial.
    I’m considering using the trunks for firewood (2 years seasoning and accept that these will be average for burning at best) and hiring a large wood chipper for the branches. I’d imagine there will be a substantial amount of chippings here and am not sure what my options are? I have a field behind the house that I could mound the chippings.
