So I am moving mortage provider, I need at least to be in the B category to qualify for the lower rate.

I got windows installed in 2020, never got the energy rating from the fitter. BER assessor during his visited asked for it as it would bring me to a B rating.

I have asked the installer for the cert which he has advised "I have requested it but they have 100s to do".

Could someone please tell how this works, where does the installer get the energy rating from? I feel like I am being spoofed.

The assessor needs a letter of supply from the supplier saying they installed "X type of windows" into (insert address) for (insert client name)

Then they need to provide the test certs for "X type of windows"

If are organised they can get that info out pretty quickly.

If your installer is holding you up, go over his head and request the info straight from the supplier using your order number
