Best type of digital camera for lightstudio

    Hi guys,

Anybody have advice on the best type of camera for use in setting up a lightstudio for filming lectures? There's plenty of Youtube videos on the set-up of such a studio, but there's very little info on the best type of digital camera to use, even on non-youtube internet searches. I think the presenters of the videos demonstrating the set-ups assume there is at least a basic knowledge of digital camera recording equipment, but I have none. Digital cameras seem to get very expensive pretty quickly, so I'm looking for entry level: obviously, choice of camera for a lightstudio involves lighting level issues, I know sound quality is important, and there shouldn't need much editorial work on the content. The plan is to gauge receptivity of the lectures first using entry-level, with the aim of investing in better equipment if it's warranted.

I had a look around the site here, but couldn't find anything. Even if ye'd know of good websites for advice on choosing the most appropriate camera for lightstudio setup that'd be great.
