Hi guys I have replaced above panel with hkc. Delta bellbox

Bellbox is too high for my ladder so I'm leaving it there

    Stb is strobe minus right?

    Is bell = bho?

The terminals for bell are in photo I've tried connecting but can't get it to sound although it flashes and also has lights as normal. Anyone know what the terminal PGM does?

    Is STB = Strobe Minus?
Yes, STB is typically Strobe Minus (-). It's the terminal that activates the strobe light when there's an alarm condition.

Connect the STB (-) terminal on your alarm panel to the STB (-) on the Delta Bellbox.
The panel will use this connection to trigger the strobe.

    Is BELL = BHO?
In HKC panels, BELL (on some systems labeled as BHO, which stands for Bell Hold-Off) is the positive power supply for the bell sounder.

    • Connect BELL (+) on the alarm panel to the BELL or SPK terminal on the Delta Bellbox.
    • This powers the internal sounder when triggered.

What Does the PGM Terminal Do?
The PGM (Programmable Output) terminal on your HKC panel is a multipurpose output that can be programmed to perform various functions. Examples include:

Triggering external devices (e.g., lights, relays, or buzzers).
Acting as an extra output for system events (e.g., alarm triggers, arming/disarming status).
If unused, you don't need to connect anything to it.

To check Why you can't get it to sound

    • Confirm all wiring between the HKC panel and the Delta Bellbox matches the installation manual.
    • Test the bellbox by temporarily bypassing the panel:
      • Connect a 12V power source directly to the BELL terminal to see if it sounds. If it works, the issue is likely panel-related (e.g., programming or wiring).
    • Check the HKC panel settings to ensure the bell output is enabled. Look for any suppressed output options.

Upload a photo of the connections, and I can guide you further!

    Blue, BHO

    Yellow, Tamper return

    Red, External bell positive

    Black, External bell negative

    Green, Strobe negative

White could be wired as engineeer hold on the delta bell. Never wire that in myself.
