Random pump runs: cistern fill/inlet valve assembly?

With all taps off the loud pump (found with low pressure and manually pumped) in this apartment runs for a second on its own from every few minutes to every 45, depending on if I have been trying to fix it, or lowering or raising the float in the cistern, which seems to change the frequency. It stops completely once I turn the valve off underneath the cistern. Already replaced the siamp diaphragm washer for the second time in the last year as it was ripped but still ongoing.

Is there somewhere in Dublin I can pickup or order a new entire assembly, unless there is something smaller on it worth trying first?

Looks different, do you know that version to function as a replacement to the one I shared?

No results on Woodies, and something that looks very different on Chadwicks: 1/2" Bottom Inlet PVC Ballvalve.

They are all standard fittings and adjustable - so you can make it function as a replacement to what you have. Believe us - toilet inlet's aren't the cutting edge of science and nothing has changed in 20 years.

You probably don't want that one from Chadwicks as it has an arm on it for a ball float. Only difference is it takes up a larger amount of space in the cistern. Might work you'd but Amazon or similar one will definitely work as it takes up the same space as the original.

Chadwicks have the Fluidmaster Pro (bottom entry), that's essentially the same.

Cheers but unless the Fluidmaster Pro Ultra Split Syphon Univ. (300) Proultra001 is likely to be more reliable than the one on Amazon it is 3 times the price. Maybe if it was urgent but for now, other than weekends, I am happy to roll with one in the chamber until I get to the unisex at work.

Don't know about the cheaper one but the expensive one is handy as you can change the diaphragm without taking the whole flush syphon out.

Ok, but we were talking about inlets (fillers) and now we're taking about siphons… but the original part in the photo is definitely an inlet.
