Mario superstars or jamboree for switch?

    Hi and thanks for reading. I know very little about gaming, but want to get my teenagers a switch game we can play as a family over the xmas. I cant ask them as want it to be a surprise! They dont play switch online, just the two of them in the same room , or 4 of us playing minigames on mario party. To be honest, id say the switch hasnt been used since last xmas! What id like to do is get another party type game for the 4 of us to play against each other, with a change of minigames to mario party as we are well used to those now! I heard that mario superstars or jamboree are similar to mario party. Would that be right, and which would be best to get, seeing as they dont have an interest in playing online, just use it for minigames that we can play against each other. Thanks for any advice. Oh, and also, if theres one "must have" game for the switch id love to hear any other recommendations! They dont use it all that much, l suppose the games we have are a bit young, and they are late teens so a new game is well overdue! Many thanks for any advice.
