not really noticed them walking abnormally, ohhh except the ones who walk with their heads buried in their phones constantly… bumping into people, ie. me, on Wicklow st a few months back. Can’t walk and use their phone simultaneously as they are so bet into whatever media or conversation that to avert their eyes for a millisecond every about seven second would destroy their experience…of yapping, scrolling or whatever….

Do they not get any credit for being able to use their feet and hands at the same time?

The difference is kids are now brought up watching cartoons on a phone or tablet from the age of 5 , its hard to walk when you are looking at a screen, its in the name Walkman you can walk normally listening to music.

in the old days there,d be a few hours of kids programs from 4pm to 6pm.

speaking on a phone is not cool.Gen z is the first generation to grow up with mobile phones apps, 24/7 internet acess .

Why do northsiders keep pigeons? To teach their kids how to walk.

I think it's unfair to blame youngsters for this when Simon Harris is the chieftain of the regime that's been in situ for the last 14 years. The current real world in Ireland is not a hospitable place for anybody Irish, especially when these poor youngsters probably already know they will never own a house, let alone a life on this small island, much like the citizens 20 years their senior that own nothing now. Of course these youngsters will glawp into their phones 24/7, it's an escape mechanism. But what are they escaping from? We all know.

Hanging around outside a school observing youngsters.

I believe the Gardai may want to 'have a word'.

Tik tok is designed to show you more videos of whatever you click on and watch most videos are a few minutes long if you like gaming or pop music it,ll show you more of the same type of video

If a video gets a lot of views on tik tok it will become a hit in the music charts

every young kid has a tablet now to watch YouTube kids or play games

I just read teens in schools are given a chapter or short pieces to read they are not used to reading novels I'm not a childcare expert but it must have an effect if you are 6 years old and you can watch youtube for hours everyday

When I was 15 I watched maybe 2 hours of tv and read books we only had 5 channels to watch

Maybe he was waiting for his own child to come out

II think there's a plus and minus to everything you can watch YouTube to learn Diy or how to play a guitar .

I don't think the average 12 year is worried about buying a house

On the contrary…. the few school-going youngsters I know are well-mannered and courteous.

The point I was trying to make is that they're so absorbed in screens and phones coming out from school that it seems to interfere with their normal mobility as they try and walk while scrolling and reading at the same time. Other than that, I don't have a bad word to say about them.
