Could someone explain the delay in getting an EO increment from 7 - 9 after successful probation. Was promoted into EO but retained CO Shift allowance from previous role. Probation finished start of November, HR have stated won't get increment to pay scale 9 until July 2025. Anyone with experience of this or can shed any light please advise.

You would need to provide more dates. How long were you CO? When did you start the EO job?

CO from 06/2017 until 11/2023, had shift allowance for that period, retained that level of pay on promotion ie pay scale 7 during EO Probation and now out of probation.

I don't understand why your Increment date wouldn't be November 2024. All the examples in the Circular 08/2019, Pay On Promotion Circular have an Increment date on the same date as your promotion.

Yeah , I mean that's what my concern is, have they slowed my progression down due to previously having a shift allowance and now no longer in receipt of that, but it still doesn't mitigate the fact that I have served the length of time that I have and should be enjoying the increments and pay restoration skips same as any other newish entrants. If so I'm in for one helluva back pay claim.

Apologies, Marking Time no long exists. See circular 08/2019
