Hi guys. Yis have helped me build 3 PCs over the past 10 years or so and it's that time again. I want to build a new PC for my son for Xmas, especially with black Friday on. I'll be buying primarily from Amazon UK.

Only thing I don't need are hard drives

This is as far as I've gotten...if it's all ok id just need advice on a decent case with plenty of space for more hd's etc. also if I need any extra fans or cables or anything. Any help is much appreciated.

    Thanks

There's budget for an 8-core Ryzen 7700 - buy at Reichelt. It won't have a fancy box but it's got 2 extra cores.

Thermalright Phantom Spirit is better than Peerless Assassin.

RAM wise you want DDR5-6000 CL30 from Kingston or G.Skill

Storage, go for 2TB M.2 drive for now

Case, NZXT H5 Flow (2022 or 2024) is a nice safe option. Or ask the kid which case looks best?

PSU, get a Corsair RM850e - they're on sale for Black Friday.

Thanks for the help Kiki. Just on another note…Will I need to buy third party fans for the case or anything? Or would i need any other cables for setting everything up? Thanks again!

    Need? Probably not.

But you can get a pack of 5 black or 3 RGB Arctic 120mm fans for €35-40
