2 shotguns for clays ?

Have my over under for about 5 years now, I only shoot clays .I fancy a new gun but want to keep the one I have and would also hate to sell the current one and not like the new one .Whats the possibility of licensing another shotgun and having two with the only use being clays ?Anyone here done it ?

Many people have 2 firearms, for the same purpose.

Different setups, sights, chokes and for different disciplines.

If you can show a need or reason then it is possible.

Very high, I knew one guy who had one for sporting, one for skeet and one for trap.
And another for game shooting to boot.

Just give your good reason, including outlining that a lot of people who are serious about shooting have two guns for the same discipline, in case one breaks/has a malfunction.

I know some chaps who bring 2 rifles to competitions, setup the exact same way(same optics, chassis, barrels, etc) for the maxmimum consistency between the two possible.

Anyone here done it ?

agree , have two 22lr rifles myself . Two over unders for clays though is a bit different.Both effectively the same and for same purpose .

4 different shotguns here all specifically for clays.

Give them a good reason. Iv one for sporting one for skeet one for dtl another for ot. All guns are different in the stock dimension choke setup barrel weight. Get real technical.

Trap, sporters and skeet guns are hugely different and different jobs need the appropriate tool
