External water sealant for pipe?

I had my annual boiler service, and I told the plumber that there was a small amount of water around the pipe that connects to the MagnaClean filter (picture attached with arrow). The plumber said there was no wet floor, the leak was minimal, and there was no need to fix it yet, as it would require a full drainage and take 1 hour.

This morning, I noticed a small patch of wet wall and 2-3 drops of water on the floor.

Is there any glue that could be used from the outside?

No, no glue for that. Don't know why he didn't just tighten it.

Try tighten it yourself with a wrench while holding the magclean. The nut goes anti-clockwise while looking downwards.

If you can tighten it don't do it more than about a quarter of a turn unless its really loose.

The plumber did try to tighten it. But he said its already tight and couldn't tight it further. I just checked and there is no water on the floor so far.

I will wait tonight and check tomorrow for any leak. When I touch the bolt by hand it seems solid.

Fair enough if the plumbers tried it. I just wanted to make sure you didn't over tighten it. It takes a bit of effort but it can be done and then you end up crushing the pipe which makes the leak worse.
