While nothing is 100% confirmed, the Newcastle Festival of Flight Airshow in Co Down could return. NMD council are in talks to bring it back most likely as part of a big weekend including the "Eats and Beats" Festival that replaced it. While nothing is 100% confirmed, the Newcastle Festival of Flight Airshow in Co Down could return. NMD council are in talks to bring it back most likely as part of a big weekend including the "Eats and Beats" Festival that replaced it.
Show will most likely be every 2 years, taking place in the year the NI International Airshow doesn't take place therefore giving at least 1 airshow per year.
Still a lot of work to be done, but there has been a big push behind the scenes to bring the show back for a couple of years now.
