Very large Ficus tree (indoor)

I have weeping fig tree almost 30yrs, from small plant to big tree. It's very healthy!

Despite pruning it back previously, its almost at ceiling height again (2.4m), getting wide. It's taking up a lot of space.

I was going to cut it back again. Cutting back would will be noticeable and may destroy the look of the tree.

Has anyone experienced of managing such a large indoor tree ?

Someone informed me it is probably worth a bit of money at the size it is, and I should try to sell it for a corporate type space. Any ideas how I could explore this before cutting back.

I don't know anything about them, just the first name that google threw up. Sometimes you just have to let a plant go if it gets too big for the space.

Goodness thats a lovely tree! Those things will drop their leaves at the least offence, you have done very well with it. There is one here https://www.theorchard.ie/ficus-deluxe-vine-tree-200cm/ that they are looking for €350 for. But do be aware that if someone buys it off you they will have to take great care of it or it could easily respond by dying on them, not your fault, it is very fussy about conditions.

The Ficus Benjamina requires specific care to thrive.

Thanks @looksee , it is indeed a lovely tree. It's in a south facing room that gets lots of light.

It nearly died on me as a very young plant in 2002/3 due to getting a fungus. It will start to loose leaves from now to end March, though new leaves always sprouting. The shed leaves are put on top of the compost to wilt and self-fertilise. That is the only feeding it gets, so obviously very effective.

Due to how nice it is, I am.reluctant to prune it back.
