Reported poster, now I can't open threads. Have I broken a rule?

I reported a poster in a thread, Celebrities you disliked before it was fashionable to, and now I can't open that thread or another one where the same poster had contributed but I hadn't posted anything.

In both cases I get the following message:

"Something has gone wrong.

We've run into a problem and are unable to handle this request right now.
Please check back in a little while."

I am getting notifications from the "Celebrities…" thread but still can't open it. The other thread is "Tesco taking 5 cent ‘charitable donation’ on return bottles and cans."

If I broke a rule by reporting the post I didn't get any message telling me that, but I suppose I can accept it.

There's nothing on your account to stop you, it's just Vanilla being useless.

I and others had same issue last night on a different thread. It is due to some new way accounts are being deleted.

The thread has posts from an Unknown profile and their posts display as: "This content has been removed."

It looks like while the posts are being wiped the thread is not accessible.

That sounds more like a case where someone has made a data request to have their account and posts wiped instead.

It was definitely a mass deletion of posts that triggered it, @Necro fixed it the last time

Then possibly it's a side effect of how Vanilla have tried to fix it. It's still only partially fixed, but I hadn't seen it give those messages before. Normally that was how account deletions showed removed posts.
