Cost of removing tiles from a cement floor to install Laminate. Worth it?

I'm buying a second floor apartment that is 22 years old and it is tiled throughout. The tiles look very dated - 1 foot square white tiles. I'm wondering if the cost is worth it to remove them (they're on a cement floor) and put in a good quality laminate instead? Also, is this a standard service from floor suppliers?

You could possibly laminate over them depending on the condition. Lifting them would be the hardest part of the job.

Some great vinyl options you could put over the tiles. Might be less hassle
