Hi, I am going to need a house alarm and my question is, can someone recommend what is the latest and greatest at the moment?

There is so much on the market nowadays its hard to keep up. Do I go good old fashion wired house alarm, or smart? Pro's, con's, what do I need to know?

    Appreciate any advice

You could have any number of answers to that question.

First off is the alarm system should be designed to secure your home, be that wired or wire free, depending on if cables are installed.

Alarm monitoring, be that self monitored or using 24hr monitoring can be added to most alarm systems.

CCTV is also popular for remote viewing of your property.

Smart home devices are great, I have light switches, lights, speakers, sockets and the heating connected using them on google home.. This list is endless but what way do you want these intregrated into your alarm system.
