Just to explain Pherekydes answer a little more:

If May value is x, then June value is 12% more, so x*1.12.

    So, what percentage is May value of the June value? Ans = x/(x*1.12) = 1/1.12 = 0.892857 = 89.2857 % = 89.3% to nearest 0.1%age point.
