Bosch exxcel 7 error message f21 suggestion for new machine

    I have a bosch excell 7 washing machine and error message came up f21. Made in 2010. I have looked after it. Not a daily use. I spoke to an engineer and he said I would be better to get a new one as the copper plate the brushes touch cannot be replaced.

    So looking for another bosch machine but do not want one that washes for 4 hours!! Looking for one that washes in 15/20minutes as well as a 45degree one. I think the one I have is 7kg and happy with that size. Any suggestions would be welcome!

    Wouldn't it be the brushes that wear, not the copper plate?

    I spoke to a repair guy on the phone and he said he could change the brushes but the copper plate it is touches wears away and I would be calling him in a few months complaining the machine is not working. Seemly that year the copper plate thing could not be replaced as it was part of the motor. He said he used to replace both at the same time and that would give the machine another 10years but they changed the design. I have been googling and they never mentioned the copper plate thing.
