I have been trying to locate archives of the Galway independent that I believe was shut down around 2020. I am looking for issue 41 in particular printed October 2012 the front page had a photo of my fathers boat in Claddagh quay Galway a photography competition winner took the photo I would love to get a copy of it to frame. I've contacted the local library, irish Independant, Cork Independent (used to be produced by same people). I was sent this url by Galway library. It won't allow me to attach the link does have some Galway Independent archives but I cant seem to access Oct 2012. I'm hoping someone out there might know how to help. I appreciate any help or advice on this !!

I think your best bet in the Galway court libary or maybe ask in the Galway advertiser office if they know how you might find out more about the loca news paper archives. Also Kenny’s bookshop might be of help with historical news papers.

Rich Text Editor. To edit a paragraph's style, hit tab to get to the paragraph menu. From there you will be able to pick one style. Nothing defaults to paragraph. An inline formatting menu will show up when you select text. Hit tab to get into that menu. Some elements, such as rich link embeds, images, loading indicators, and error messages may get inserted into the editor. You may navigate to these using the arrow keys inside of the editor and delete them with the delete or backspace key.
