All cameras offline.

I moved to a house with a CCTV system installed .5 cameras,an NVR which seems generic with a similar UI to a hikvision one .the previous occupant had it set up with his own password and pattern. Not wanting him to still have access to my system I reset the NVR to factory default. I understood the cameras and system was plug and play however that doesn't look like it is the case. As I have no feedback from the cameras just a yellow triangle with exclamation mark. I have followed a few you tube tutorials to no avail. It's a network access issue If say but I'm not sure what I need to do . If I use the sadp it says the cameras are active. I'm baffled.

The cameras would have a password, normally the same as the system so you need to default these also

If you go into the camera setting on the NVR, does each camera show?

What does the tringle say if you press it?

Yes the cameras show. It says something about a networking issue. It's got to be some setting in the NVR which is incorrect. I should have left it alone I think

You may need to have someone look at it for you.

Them systems are plug and play once you are connected with the cameras direct into the NVR as apposed to using a switch, then back to the NVR.
