I thought I was gone at 8.18am this morning, turned on ChristmasFM in the car on the way to work and immediately I heard George Michaels voice and it took me a minute to realise it was Band Aid, Do they Know it’s Christmas time?

I haven't heard any Christmas songs yet. But then I've hardly been in a shop and I only listen to the radio for 20 mins in the morning and in the car. Did have a few students humming/whistling Mariah, that stuck in my head for the day.

So still infir now.

Was in the M50 Christmas Shop on Sunday and they had the Christmas tunes blaring, thought of this comp and said to myself "You're gone" but Last Christmas didn't come on.

Honestly, bar last Saturday, I haven't heard it at all!! I even went for a walk at lunchtime listening to Christmas FM. Nada, zilch, nothing 🤣

I listen to a lot of radio in the car but FM104 hasn’t start playing Christmas songs yet so I’m still safe. Will defo be gone once I turn the radio over to Christmas FM when it goes live

104 used to be the first Monday in December for Christmas songs, not sure what it is now but they were usually the latest. One an hour at first, then more.

Had to drive in today, radio on 104 as they usually aren't in to Christmas music yet, then heard the presenters saying they were going to play a Christmas song - right, Newstalk/Radio1 it is for the rest of the trip!

I spoke too soon. There's a shop next door to my office which has outdoor speakers, and just as I was coming back from my lunch break, I got hit.
