I've a load of old RDF Gear…. what should I do with it? Jackets/Pants/Jumpers/Shirts etc. A lot of it not even opened. Whats the process for disposal? (I'm dublin based).

I'll be keeping me boots, and the bren gun I stole. ;)

What type of old RDF gear?

If it is the pre-2002 Green uniform, then you can probably keep it and use it for DIY, painting etc. Seeing that you mention the Bren, it probably is.

If it is the 2002 Camouflage uniform, you can drop it off at an Army or Garda barracks or, preferably, give it to a Reservist.

I'm in the market for some of the green stuff, if you're tall.

thx lads … it was DPM gear. But I found a lad who was keen on getting his hands on it, so it’s gone to a good home now. Thx for the replies.
