Assault cases not taken serious by police

What do you do when you report a case of assault and the police just scribble and say they will call you. They do not provide you with a case number? Not once, but twice, for the same bully

Write in to the station's District Office and request a pulse number/demand a statement be taken. Go to Garda Ombudsman
