Please excuse any typing mistakes or errors with my post as I have learning issues and trying my best to type this out so it isn't a pain for others to read.

    Hi everyone,

I'll try and keep this post as short as possible as I can, I've been nominated by the council to Respond for a one bedroom apartment that is local and is a perfect for where I work with the local CE Scheme and recently started a part-time job with Lidl. I've been trying everything to rent privately, I went into shops, talking to estate agents and leaving information with them and asking my managers if they hear anything to let me know. It's been extremely hard but I'm happy with how things are going for the moment anyways, I understand it isn't an offer or anything but I only sent back everything that was needed to "respond" I just sent it by email this Friday just gone, so know it could take a few days or even weeks to get back to me, do they email, call or send out a letter telling you when the interview will take place? I was told over the phone by a person that works with Respond that the interview will take place in the apartment and would be shown around the apartment to see if I like it as well. I've currently in a B&B and working mostly 6 days a week, half with the Scheme and other half with Lidl, I'm just worried as with Lidl as I'm new I was told we aren't allowed our phones on us and I really don't want to miss any calls from them.

What type of questions would you be asked by Respond during the interview?

How long does the interview usually last for whenever you get a date to attend one?

When you get told about the interview date/time, would they always inform you if others are coming to view the property as well?

I can't think of any other questions at the moment as I'm a bit fried from all my different shift patterns but I'll comment in the box below when I remember more

I'm just bit scared with the Garda vetting though as I've been detained a few times by the guards, maybe 3/4 times due to mental health, and sometimes it was myself calling because I have a bad experience with the ambulance service and the guards were always kind, polite and always joked with me trying to make me laugh. I've never been charged with anything. I spent 6 months in hospital when the help was offered to me. Do you think this will affect my chances of being picked with Respond?

    Thanks for reading my post
