Problem with water supply to washing machine

    hi all

    Our washing machine has been giving problems in that it doesn’t complete the wash cycle.

    I checked the water inlet and the cold hose inlet filter did have fine grit in it, I cleaned this out and it worked ok for a few weeks but failed and again it had fine grit in the filter.

    the supply is from a well so what are my options can I get the well engineer to put a filter in the system. There are no other problems with supply and you can only see sand in the water when it goes through a drinking water filter
