    Hi guys.

Does anyone know the way to make a formal complaint to sky so I can complain to comreg?

Their email form Does not exist.

We joined them back on the 2nd August for a tv/broadband package. The equipment was sent out and given and engineer date of August 14th. The guy came out and said there was an issue and a new cable needed to be laid and he would be back tomorrow. He didn't show up.

I then rang sky and they gave us a date of 20th of September for the engineering work.

The lads came and did that and left a load of wires hanging out of the electricity box. I've been ringing ever since for a sky engineer to come and complete the installation. They have been unable to give me a date saying we would need to wait for a call.

This morning, at 9am, two more actavo guys came and ran even more wires and told me the sky engineer would be here in 30 mins. I took the day off work and lo and behold. Nothing. I ran sky and they were unaware of this visit and again just told me to wait. I told them I took the day off work and he said.. oh well it might be tomorrow.

At this stage, I want to cancel my tv and broadband as I haven't even been able to use the tv as its a streaming box. They said I can't as my cooling off periodnfor the tv had passed and would need to pay the exit fee.

Do you think it's a fair enough clause to cancel the whole contract as they could not unhold their end of the contract and we have not been able to use the tv.

I've been hotspotting my phone for 2 months and and am well and truly fed up!

    Thanks

I'd call the cancellations team. I've gotten out of a contract with vodafone recently for less.

AFAIK your contract and therefore your cooling off period starts when a connection goes live. don't let them bully you.
