Sallins Train Station Commute

    Hi,

I’m currently considering a move to Naas and was looking for some insights into commuting from Sallins to the IFSC around 8 in the morning.

Does the parking ever fill up?

Are the trains completely jammed or is it reasonable to assume you would always get on?

Same goes for getting the luas outside Heuston?

    Any help is appreciated!

You have Sallins to Heuston and Sallins to Connolly/Grand Cancel Dock. You will always get on the train, Luas might have to wait for one but they are frequant.

Depending on where your moving to. There is better service from Hazelhatch direct to Connolly but they do offer cross platfrom connections for services that don't go direct from Sallins.

Naas car park is busy. I get off the train from Dublin around 0750 and the car park on the southside of the station has cars illegally parked regularly due to lack of spaces. No idea about the car park the opposite side. This morning was nice and dry and there were several spaces taken that aren't spces. not sure how some will even get out if tehy come back before the cars behind them. On a bad morning it would be worse.
