    so...am in 2 minds about upgrading my phone ...one hand its fast, takes amazing photos, does all i need

    ...on other hand its over 5 yrs old and longest ive gone without replacing a phone...and am feeling a bit of a want on me for one.

    if i were to spend say 4-500 is there anything out there a worthwhile upgrade to what i have....id like something with a big oled screen (im more interested in width as i find this current generation of phones very thin...but not foldable), say 8gb ram, sd card slot, and some life to it as regards to future android updates.

    nearest ive really come is a samsung a55…older samsung flagships from say s21 on have no sd card.

    i dont mind what brand really.
