    all,

I’ve a couple of family members who have been driving Tuscon’s for about a decade and love those Hyundai’s, great rep with the same garage for servicing and sales guy is pretty fair, straightforward and not too tricky when trade in time comes.

Tuscon has always impressed me but is way too much car for me and in terms of available parking here and my general needs and whatnot.

I know SFA about the Kona from a firsthand perspective but in terms of size, the reviews I’m reading I think it’s probably a good match for my requirements.

I’d be major appreciative of any first hand insight from those of you driving or who have driven the Kona. Just for info I’d just mainly be doing about 90 - 120 kms a week tops. Very little of that on a motorway….

Grateful for any thoughts or pointers. Thanks…

I know the electric ones get good reviews if you would think of going that way there's decent money to be saved on fuel and maintenance costs.

Don't expect anything from life, just be grateful to be alive.

I had my first Kona(petrol) in 2018,drove it for 4 years, loved it.in 2022 got a new Kona (petrol)again, drove for 2 years.both cars never gave any trouble.very pleasant on the long rides also.very good fuel consumption wise, found it very economical. Bought 242 Tuscon Hybrid now and I just can't get over how much petrol that thing eats up . Miss my Kona

thanks for replying guys. That probably helps solidify my Kona preference.

Probably wouldn’t be in favour of the electric Kona as there are very few charging stations near me.

Had a loan of a kona for a week there over the summer it was the 3 cylinder petrol. I liked the looks of the car and was comfertable enough on inside, the engine was a screamer in my opinion it just whined and whined and whined like all 3cyl do but semeemd economical. Also the plastics in it are horrid, dashboard feels so cheap as does the door cards and switches.

My advise would be go rent one from enterprise for A few days and see what it's like to live with. For a couple hundred quid it would give you the best idea of if it suits you or not.
