WRC Inspector 2024

    Has anyone received any interviews or rejections for the recent round of WRC Inspector applications? Closing date was 22nd August and I think I remember the advertisement saying interviews would be late September/early October? Thanks

    Not heard anything yet. I note from an earlier thread that the initial stage of the previous competition in 2021 took around the same time and invitations to interview were sent out on a Friday, so maybe something tomorrow?

    Which location did you apply for out of interest?

    I'd imagine that given its been a number of weeks that they are going straight to shortlisting for interview. Would expect to hear something soon. I only applied for Dublin, best of luck.

    Just an update on this if anyone is following, I emailed PublicJobs.ie on the 10th Oct asking if they knew what was going on. They replied that day to say that shortlisting is complete and results would issue "early next week", that being last week. I still haven't received anything. Very frustrating.

    Has anyone applied for the inspection competition and made it to the interview stage? I received an email saying I’ve been shortlisted, but not for the first round of interviews.

    Was this an interdepartmental competition or advertised on PAS and an open competition? If so does anyone have the info booklet they could share?
