GEM average age

Hi all, so I did get accepted and started UCC GEM. Must say I am taken aback by how young the class is, people over 30 (I am 42) are definitely outliers.

any thoughts?

I've no knowledge of the GEM programme in UCC, but I do know that in UL it's quite a young average age cohort. I've not been a student on that course but from mixing with them during the year the average age did seem to be 30's.

haha, good idea. In UCC, the average age is definitely early to mid 20s. I'm definitely an outlier - that said they all seem quite friendly.

I was 40 when I went back in 2019 and albeit it was criminal justice rather than medicine. The split of older students was pretty much late 20s/early 30s with the outliers being 40 and above.
