Turas Nua - Exit appointment

Hi all,

My year is nearly up with Turas Nua (or whatever they are called now), my next appointment is the Exit Appointment. I did find them helpful, but unfortunately was not able to find employment. What exactly happens after this appointment? Do I get called back straight away, or do they leave you alone for the two months? It says:

"If you spent a year on JobPath and remain unemployed 2 months after you have finished, you become eligible for selection again."

Is this always the case? Or are you called for something else during this time?

I've seen people referred within a few weeks. With unemployment so low DSP are on a rampage when it comes to Job Activation programs. I've seen people sign on & a week later getting reffered.

No Not IIf you're currently on one but when finished, you could be called back in or not, a week later.

Do you get any kind of letter from them to say basically " your 52 weeks on Seetec are up" when finished or what usually happens??

Unless you are 60+ there is no way to avoid the various Job Activation schemes apart from finding a full time job yourself, or switching to another SW payment which might be more suitable for you, and doesn’t require you to be looking for employment.
