Advice in what my rights are

I am the dad in this situation, I have split up with my partner of 9 years and which was her choice. We were not married and have a 3 year old daughter. I am paying 400 quid maintenance per month since we split up and see her from 10 to 5 pm on Saturday only right now. My daughter is in creche and montessori from 9 to 2pm Monday to Friday and naps from 2 to 5 roughly.

I don't have guardianship, access rights or custody since we were not marriad and she never let me becime guardian...one of the first true major kinks in our relationship...

I am wondering what are the chances of getting guardianship and more access rights to my daughter?

The father has automatic joint guardianship if he has lived with the child's mother for 12 consecutive months including at least 3 months with the mother and child following the child's birth.

If the mother disputes the amount of time spent cohabiting or does not agree to sign the statutory declaration, the other parent must apply to the court to be appointed as a joint guardian. You do not require legal representation to do this, you can make the application on your own behalf. Most court applications are made to the District Court. They can also be made to the Circuit Court as part of an application for judicial separation or divorce.
