    hello,

myself and 10 year old have climbed a good few mountains in last few years e.g. Carrauntoohill, Galtymore, Mweelrea, Derryclare, Benbaun, Benbulben, Knockmeladown, Croagh Patrick, Ben Gorm etc

looking to tackle Mount Brandon - would this be more difficult than the above mountains?

I climbed it last year having climbed Carrauntoohill the previous year. I found it moderately difficult but very enjoyable. Incredible scenery from the top if you're blessed with the weather you can see the whole of the Dingle peninsula.

If you've both done Carrauntoohill you'll be well able for Brandon. We stayed in O'Connors in Cloughan (would highly recommend if you need accomodation) and we walked straight up and down to there. I think we were back in O'Connors with a lovely pint of Guinness about 3-4 hours after starting.

Is there any wreckage left around the Condor plane crash site on the Faha ridge?

Lovely mountain to climb. One thing I would say is make sure you're comfortable in poor visibility. I've done it twice and both times it went from a clear day to almost zero visibility in the space of 15 mins.
