Bus eireann protest at 12pm this Saturday. Who's going?

Theres a protest this Saturday 21st Sept at Parnell Bus Station against the desperate state of the bus system here.

I'll be going anyway. My pregnant girlfriend has been left stranded after 10pm on her own multiple times a week after work. Literally standing by herself, in the dark, on a deserted road like an absolute eejit waiting for a ghost bus.

I'm not the organiser and have nothing to do with it. Just getting the word out.

I was going to post this. I'll turn up. The 220 is mad again. What's been happening over the last week now is in both directions the buses are ending in the city so nobody can get on which doubles the crowd for the next bus. By the time the next bus arrives and picks up it's full so no stops after that. Anyone reading this who gets the 220 from South Mall after 4pm I'd suggest walk to the GP or there's every chance the bus will go right past you as it's full. Someone set up a facebook page a couple of weeks ago to document any issues with the 220.
