Hi Everyone, looking for some 2025 recommendations for anyone who has travelled with their pet.

    Considering UK/Europe/France/Spain.

    Any other recommendations?

Looking for: as less as possible travel/driving. Beaches/relaxing/good food.

If you're taking the ferry to France, that would be Brittany or Normandy. Both good for dogs IME but you should be aware that a lot of beaches in France don't allow dogs in summer, or when they do, it's only at certain hours - usually before 10am and after 7pm but it can be earlier or later. Or a total ban as I say.

That said, there are generally lots of places to walk dogs easily enough, so it's not necessarily a major obstacle. And if you mean in Autumn, like now, it's usually more relaxed. The weather may not be reliable though.

Sorry I can't be more precise about places, as I don't really know what sort of accommodation you're looking for. We caravan, and dogs have to be kept on a leash in any camp sites I've ever been to. Again, that's not been an issue for us, but it depends what you want, and it depends on your dog.
