All but four local roads in Galway will have their speed limits cut to 60km/h

As per the articile in the Connacht Tribune. It says "Local Roads", which I assume is an unnumbered or "L" road, and the "R" roads are not impacted.

I wouldn't bet on it. Only 7.5 km of the Ballygar to Creggs road remains at the higher speed and that is a small section of the R362

They can just about catch speeding motorists on the motorway. How the hell do they expect to cover the thousands of kilometres in Co Galway alone? Our road should be a 60, is actually an 80 and most break that. And will continue to do so. Because they've little or no chance of getting caught.
