Selling a hotel room I can't sue

    This is more an accomodation question than a travel question. Apologies if it is in the wrong forum.

    Has anyone here ever sold accommodation on sites like transfertravel.com or some other site like it?

    I booked a room in a hotel for one night but I can't use it now. It is a non-refundable booking. The hotel told me they can change the name on my reservation. The room is already paid for by me.

    But I am thinking if I sell it and the person who buys it from me orders in room service or does damage to the room?

    I will probably be liable for that even if the booking as been changed to their name? I wouldn't take the risk if that is the case.
