How do you remove this handle?

I got these window sashes for free on Adverts and want to use them to bring in a bit of extra daylight to the shed. I've removed all the screws and the locking strap thing is loose, but it's still connected at the handle which I also want to remove. I can't figure how to undo it without taking the angle grinder to it. I'm…

is there a little grub screw on it? Needs an allen key normally

No, I just found that this cover plate twists sideways when the handle is in the neutral position revealing the screws. Thanks though.
