    hi all,

I am going to a family wedding this weekend and went to an post today to exchange money from my account using Bank Card.

I got £600 in sterling for present and money while at it.

I was asked a whole heap of questions, I had to show ID, give my home address, sign a form and then I was asked what the money was for?

i haven’t exchanged money in years so all new to me but never remembered being asked all this before for exchanging a few hundred. I asked the lady why I need to provide all this and she said it’s anti laundering measures. She said it’s all tracked now how much people exchange it which is fair enough but i through it was all a bit extreme or maybe I’m just naive!
