Maternity benefit after stillbirth at 24 weeks

Our daughter was stillborn at 24 weeks exactly, It is obviously a very difficult time for us and I am trying to work out leave from work to give myself some breathing space to grieve and get my head together. I have gotten conflicting advice on maternity benefit, some resources saying I am entitled to maternity benefit…

I have gotten conflicting advice on maternity benefit, some resources saying I am entitled to maternity benefit because baby was 24 weeks, others say she would have had to be 25 weeks, has anyone been through this and have any advice or insight into what entitlements are please?

I am so, so very sorry for your loss.
This is what Citizens Information says, in relation to maternity leave, maternity benefit, and stillbirth.

I hope you are successful in being awarded MB and you can take all the time you need to grieve.
