Right of way at cross roads

I came up to this crossroads at the weekend in north Tipperary.

I was approaching the crossroads from the angle in the screenshot, going straight through from an L road to an R road.

The main R road is the road to the left of the view and turns the bend to straight of the view.

The road I was on was an L road and the road to my right was an L road.

I obviously stopped to traffic on the main road, but what if there was someone also stopped on my right and was going straight through to the R road or turning right, also onto the R road?

Who has right of way if they are

both leaving an L road and going onto the R road?

I've attached a pin drop too for a street view.

The L road junction I was stopped at had 3 stop signs where the L road to my right has just one, going by street view (if this makes a difference?).

    Thanks!

according to the ROTR, the motorist on the right has right of way:

If you are at a junction where the roads are of equal importance, the traffic on your right has right of way. You must let that traffic pass before you move on. It is important to understand that the right of way is not an absolute right. You must proceed with caution while showing regard for other users of the road.

under section 9, 'Junctions and Roundabouts' on the edition i was just looking at.

i've also heard the claim that left turning traffic would have priority over traffic turning right (because left turning traffic does not have to cross a lane) but i've not seen that mentioned anywhere official.

Yes, my interpretation would be to give way to the motorist emerging from the road on your right and there is always a default setting in road traffic regulations to give way to those on your right (unless otherwise indicated).

If you are going left or straight at that junction from that stop sign then apart from traffic on the main road then you have the right away. You make your move and then the anything coming out of the road on the right makes their move. Regardless of right of way, no harm letting someone else go first if you think it's easier and safer.

The traffic coming from the right trumps everybody else on that junction in particular. A car coming from the left, (Rossmore direction) is the last to move.

Purple Mountain, here's another question…. Who has the right of way if 4 cars come to the crossroads you passed through to reach the point in your link??

Just for fun…… Which of the 4 cars has the right of way?

Sorry I don't understand which way you are saying each car would be turning!

But I've got the gist of right of way to right now.

I guess my question was- where I was stopped at the stop sign (facing towards Dundrum).. if I was turning left there towards Thurles, could I go, if there was a car to my right on the other L road either going straight or turning right, as I would not be crossing a main road but they would. Or is that irrelevant?

They are not driving my car. If you think it's safer for a car coming out on the right to go first then by all means let them go first regardless who has the right away.

It's all common sense really. The Junction the OP has posted about above is not really a cross roads now, it probably was decades ago. it's just 2 junctions coming together now onto the bend of a bigger/wider road.
