Callisthenics

    anyone know if there are any callisthenics threads?
    Anyone doing body weight exercises coupled with cardio on alternating days, in conjunction with high protein, moderate carb approach?

    If so how are ya finding it?

    I do pushups, chinups and squats for high volume (total 50 reps; many sets low reps), 2-3 times a week. I started 4 year ago in the lockdown. I still doing it and quited gym membership. Sometimes look up for exercises on BetterMe appNever feel better and aesthetical fitter! Give it a try!

    No I don’t ring a calisthetics thread but I’m doing exercises using a chin up bar that fits in a door frame, and hanging gymnastic rings out of the bar.
    I pair this with a 10KG weight vest and a few dumbbells for leg exercises.

    Also I walk about 3k- 5k most days for the cardio element.
    I then calisthetics train 3 times a week, pull ups, push ups, rows, dips, weighted squats, weighted lunges.

    My weight has dropped from 75KG at about 27%BF (according to one of those scales that measured BF when you step on it) to a low of 66KG at 18% BF judged off the same scales.

    This is all paired with a calorie deficit so I was eating 1600-1700kcal a day.
    Im not now as it’s Xmas 🤣🤣
